Young people

The climate camp should also be a space for young people. The fight for
climate justice is about enabling future generations to have a liveable
future. For a holistic approach, we therefore want to involve younger
generations into creating the climate camp. The fact that children are a
important part of the movement is shown by the weekly school strikes of
the “Fridays for Future” movement alone. Young people are able to act
independently and to organize themselves.
We want to create a place where playing, handicrafts, learning and
relaxing can be done. We reject authoritarian education and adultism. In
dialogue at eye level, we want to share learnscapes and environmental
and ecological content. Elitist language barriers have to be dismantled.
